 Bernard Joseph ‘Bernie’

passed away peacefully on Monday December 8th, 2025.

 On the 13th of December it would have been his 87th birthday, much longer than his lifestyle would have suggested by his own admission.

 He was the proud husband to Carolyn; they met in 1966.

 Dad to Damien, Lynette, Erin, Karen, Annette, and Stephen and

Pa to Alex, Ryan, Ayden, Caleb, Harper, Vance, Isabelle and Oliver.

 

He was a farmer, councillor, businessman, miner, land developer,

car enthusiast/racer & restorer, mentor, historian, enthusiastic debater and much more.

Rest in Peace Bernie.

 Mass of Thanksgiving to celebrate the life of ‘Bernie’ will be held at

 St. Therese’s Catholic Church, Kennington on FRIDAY (December 19th, 2025)

 commencing at 12 noon.

The cortege will leave at the conclusion of Mass for the White Hills Lawn Cemetery.

JEFFERY Layla Jade Passed away unexpectedly in Donald 9th July 2026, aged 13 years. Beloved daughter of Tahlia and much-loved sister to brother Eddy. Dearly loved granddaughter of Grandma and Pa Cheyne. Adored niece of Kaitlyn, Tim & Cami and Clint. Cherished by all her cousins, especially Bailey and Sophia, as well as all her beautiful friends'; numerous extended family members and her father Aaron.
